Valencia hopes to forget about their Champions League woes today against Betis.

Club President Manuel Llorente neared the players today to talk to the team. His message was clear, he did not want a repeat of last season. When Valencia got knocked out of the Champions League last season, they returned to the league to lose 4-0 against Zaragoza and did not recuperate until defeating Getafe two weeks later. He also said that the best way to forget about the loss at Stamford Bridge is a win here.

Unai Emery assures that it is not necessary for the president to come and tell them that, they know their responsibility and the importance of the game against Betis.

Llorente also advised the team that the way to get back to the Champions League is La Liga, so he made it clear that they don’t forget about La Liga.

Unai Emery has also recognized that the game against Espanyol was their worst game played, and they won. He says we cannot play like that again or we will lose.

Miguel and Ricardo Costa are once again left out of the match.
