The squad saw Ricardo Costa and Miguel being left out of the squad again. Rami and Alba will also miss the game due to suspension. The squad is as follows:

I guess we’ll be watching Barragan, Dealbert and Piatti then?

I hope you never get to be a coach. You’re putting your playmaker on the defensive midfielder-position. Banega is way too offensive for that, even against Betis. And remind yourself that he is just returning from an injury, and then you put him on a position where he will get overrun without a Topal/Albelda near him.

Actually, Emery did play Tino Costa and Ever Banega together in midfield last year, with no holding midfielder to back them up. I i imagine he might put in Bruno instead of Barragan though.

           Jonas, Soldado
             Banega
    Piatti, Parejo, Hernandez
    Barragan, Rami/ Dealbert, Ruiz, Alba
    Guaita

NOPE, Rami and Alba are suspended for the next match as they have picked up too many yellow cards.

Most people won’t agree but I hope Emery stays with Soldado as the lone striker. Aduriz is pretty much useless, the only thing he knows is headers so unless he plans to bombard the Betis penaly area, playing Aritz is almost like playing with 10 men.
I hope Pablo and Piatti get a run today, I’d really love to see Piatti score a goal because that’d make wonders for his confidence.
