Ever Banega agrees to extend his contract until 2015

The Argentine midfielder finally agrees a new deal

Valencia midfielder Ever Banega has officially agreed to extend his contract at the Mestalla until June 30th, 2015. The Argentine had been in discussions with the club for several months about renewing his contract and both parties finally came to an agreement today.

Speaking to the club’s official website Banega said: ”I am very happy to extend my contract with Valencia CF. I want to keep improving with this team every day.”

Banega has had his ups and downs in his his Valencia career, but over the past three years he has grown to become one of Valencia’s most important players and news of this contract extension will go down well with the club’s supporters.

Still only 23, Banega’s best years are still ahead of him and he is committed to spending them at the Mestalla.

Valencia President Manuel Llorente spoke about his delight at tying down Banega to a new deal. He said: ”Ever is one of the greatest talents of the Spanish league.”

”He is a young player who is growing and maturing by the day and we are convinced that in the future he will be even more important for Valencia CF.”

    Amazing news, apart from midfielders of Barcelona and Real the best midfielder from La Liga. He has a lot of talent and his motivation is getting better every week. Now I want Jordi Alba to sign a new contract and I’m happy! Amunt Valencia!

    Great move. A season or so back i was worried we wasted the 18 Mill Euros we spent on him. But now looks like money well spent. Only 23!
