Miguel: I Want To Have A New Image Off The Pitch

Miguel Brito has broken his silence and promises, “work, commitment and respect.”

Work, commitment and respect.  These are three words that Miguel today stressed in front of the media.  The fullback wants to show his best form in the time he has remaining at Valencia.  “In the time I have left at Valencia, however long it is, I want to be committed to the club, the fans and my teammates.  The only thing I can do is to promise work, commitment and respect.”

“There was a time that I don’t know if I was staying or going.  It was a last minute thing.  In the end, it wasn’t possible for me to leave, so I’m staying and I’m just another player.  I had a conversation with the manager.  I think that it has been positive, and I’m here to help the manager.  I’ll do what he wants.”

After being booed during Valencia’s presentation, Miguel stated, “I understand the fans, but I wish to change.  I believe that I have always shown my commitment on the pitch.  My image off the pitch is different.  I don’t know if I’ll be here for three months, or at the end of the season, but I want to be committed to the club.”

Does Miguel deserve another chance?

Maybe he doesn’t deserve another chance, but we probably need him. Barragan is unexperienced, Bruno isn’t more than decent, so Miguel is our best right back. I think we should give him another chance IF he behaves like a professional now!

Cut him some slack, im a valancia fan and im tired of some of the people that have made a habit of thrashing miguel. he’s a human being who messed up a couple of times, SO WHAT, get over it. like it or not he is the best right back we have, way better than bruno, dont know about this baragan. Frankly, he had a better last season than Ever Banega. If he can get his act together, why not.
