The Actual Situation of Valencia CF
We all know that Valencia have not been going through
...The Valencia coach was happy with the point
Valencia Coach Unai Emery believed the 1-1 draw against Osasuna on Sunday was a fair result for both teams. Valencia took the lead late in the game but they let the victory slip as Osasuna equalised in stoppage time.
Valencia took the lead through the prolific Roberto Soldado with just five minutes to go, but Lolo equalised for Osasuna in the 90th minute after Valencia captain David Albelda was sent off.
But Emery was satisifed with a point and he was pleased with the efforts of the players.
Speaking at the post-match press conference he said: “This was the right result, to be honest. It was a real shame as Osasuna scored with the last kick of the ball, but a draw is a right reflection of what happened on the pitch.”
“I’m satisfied with the team’s performance. They ran their socks off and worked incredibly hard. We could have created a bit more chances, but it was a very difficult game.”
Valencia have now gone three league games without a win since returning from the winter break, after draws against Osasuna and Villareal along with a defeat against Real Sociedad.
But Los Che remain comfortably in third place as they sit four points clear of fourth placed Levante and eight points clear of Espanyol in 5th.
