Valencia Haven’t Forgotten About Jesús Gámez

If Málaga get relegated the possibility of signing Jesús Gámez would significantly increase.

In their search for right backs for next season, Valencia are watching Málaga’s Jesús Gámez.  In fact, a member of the technical staff was at the Ciutat de Valencia yesterday afternoon to watch him live as his team fell to a 3-1 loss against Levante.

Jesús Gámez is a right back that Valencia have always likes.  Fernando Gómez even had a pre-agreement with the player saying that he would join the blanquinegros, but the move wasn’t executed in the end.  Valencia’s interest in the footballer has reignited now that the right back’s contract has become a priority for Málaga ahead of next season.

You must bear in mind that Málaga, since they were bought by an Arab sheikh are no longer a selling club.  In fact, seeing the players that have arrived during the Winter transfer window, you could say the contrary, but Valencia are very alert as Málaga are in the relegation zone.  In that sense, Málaga’s defeat yesterday in Valencia means that Pellegrini’s side are sitting in second last place, with 29 points, level with Hércules, and only three ahead of bottom club Almería.
