Valencia has reached an agreement with Bankia to allow them to resume work on the Nou Mestalla, which will be completed in an estimated period off 2 years. The Valencia president also wanted to thank Bankia for it’s strong commitment to the club and said: “I want to thank Bankia a lot, they’ve worked make a better future for the club and Valencia. It was a joint effort of several months and has finally been achieved through the collaboration of both parties.”

So what’s with the debt now? Does this cover a part of it or…?

    • http://vcfcentral.com Omar Al-Taie

This deal has brought 250 Million euros for the club, so we can say that the financial crisis is over, but we still owe debt to some companies

      • Cile

Great, so that means no more selling players for other than sporting reasons I guess?

        • http://vcfcentral.com Omar Al-Taie

It’s looks like it man, I hope it’s true, we just need to build a team around players like Rami, Alba, Banega, Soldado

          • B.G

Wish we hadn’t sold Mata last summer .. :D So we could have kept him and built a team around him and those players you mentioned Omar :)

But anyways, fantastic deal, hope this means Banega will stay here no matter what! And a great feeling being clear of debt AND having a new awesome stadium on the way :)

A little amunt for the future!

  • Los Che Jon

Wow what a piece of news……I am made up guys!!

I love this club so much and hopefully like an earlier poster said it prob means we dont have to offload our best players year after year and hopefully one day I can see a Valencia that will be able to challenge for major honours once again

    AMUNT LLORENTE

There is nothing that could make me unhappy right now. This is what we’ve all been waiting for. FINALLY!

  • Batman

Where did you read about the 250 million euros? It almost sounds to good to be true… But I hope it’s true ;)

  • EsP

I just came in my pants.

  • Los Che Jon

The only downside to this is that we have effectively exchanged all our assets (stadium etc) for the debt – Bankia own the old Mestalla, the training complex at Paterna and they will own the Nou Mestalla and we will effectively lease the ground back – I think thats the jist of whats happened

Players we need to get rid off soon please! Bruno,Barragan,Miguel, Dealbert!

Players we should sell! at the end of summer. Topal,Parejo or loan. Maduro and maybe Aduriz?

We need to buy new players…………….

    Amunt!

    • Cile

Three (all) RB’s, a promising CM and a CDM among others? You must be really bad at any football manager game.

      • Krekam

You dont know a shit about football! I said we need to buy new players!!

        • Cile

Parejo – Banega took 2 years to start playing as well as was expected from him.
Topal – Albelda’s not getting any younger so you’d need to buy 2 DM’s!
Dealbert – 3rd, sometimes even 4th choice CB, lowest pay of all the players, always available if Emery needs him, if not he’ll be quiet and train some more.
3 RBs – Right, because Valencia are just gonna go out and buy 2 new ones and incorporate them right away into the team.

Seriously I’d only agree about Aduriz and to an extent Maduro but changing half of the dressing room would leave Valencia with another transition year. Talk about knowing shit about football, did you look at your mirror lately?

          • Krekam

Have you seen the games lately? Topal is not as good as last season. Sometimes hes a little bit slow and making misstakes! In my opinion hes weak as a football player! We need a strong CDM! Unfortunatley that will not happen for awhile!

Albelda has alot of experience! I rather keep Albelda than Topal even thougth Topal is 25 i dont care!

As for Parejo! I said loan him out, hes just warming the bench! we paid 6 millions for him.

Now i have heard about Dealbert hes loyal to the club i want him also to be included for the club untill next seasong! But think! whats will happen if Rami gets injured, just take a look at the Betis game!

Van Der Wiel is coming at summer i hope, than i really hope Bruno and Miguel leaves! as for Barragan hes the worst player i have seen in Valencia for a long time. Have a nice day!

    • as

good job …. sell all our rb and 1 of our (2) defensive mids. and also parejo who we bought for 6 mil.

brilliant idea … who would you buy as replacements? are they cheap/available by any chance

  • Los Che Jon

Barragan wont leave as he just signed last summer, Dealbert will get a new deal (already pretty much confirmed by the club) and tbh he is as good back up and a squad player you will ever get and by that he never moans, he knows he is just a squad player and is always positive about the club!!

Miguel and Bruno will most likely be shown the door however there is a meeting between Llorente, Braulio and Emery planned after the Cadiz home game to discuss Miguel’s future or as I suspect lack of it!!

Out of the others I could maybe see Aduriz leaving for first team football and possibly Parejo (although I dont think the club wants to sell him)

  • CF@Hong Kong

    good news!!!! amunt valencia!!!!!!

however, don’t sell the main players in next season pls

  • CF@Hong Kong

if it finish,i must go to valencia see the match!!!!

  • Cile

I find this weird but when I went to Facebook to like Manuel Llorente, there were only 2 pages about him – and both were ANTI Manuel Llorente! There are actually Valencianistas who hate Llorente?

    • Batman

      Fuck the haters!

  • Valencia

Why sell Parejo hes a great player wonderfull news AMUNT Valencia in 2 years i will visit Valencia AMUNT

    • Cile

Only an idiot seeking players to start shining NOW would sell him. People seem to forget that knee-jerk reactions and searching for instant success has brought Valencia into the financial mess that crippled them for the last few years.
