Valencia Want To Keep Dealbert, Ricardo Costa Set To Leve in January

Valencia have made their decision on Angel Dealbert, while  Real Betis are reportedly interested in Costa.

Angel Dealbert is one of five players who’s contracts expire at the end of the season (along with Bruno, Miguel, Albelda and Maduro). In the next coming days Braulio Vazquez will inform the player’s representatives about the team’s intention to extend the defender’s contract. Valencia have decided to renew Dealbert’s contract for a number of reasons such as his professionalism and salary.

Rami and Ruiz are currently the startes at the club, but the backroom staff think that the club need four center backs, so they decided to extended Angel’s contract and get a new defender especially that Ricardo Costa is set to leave the club. Angel hasn’t played a lost and has remained patient but when asked to do his job on the pitch he impressed the staff. Dealbert has several possible option for his future with clubs from a lower level from Valencia interested in signing him but Angel has told his agent Joseba Diaz to first listen to Valencia.

Regarding other players whose contracts expire at the end of the season, Miguel and Bruno look to be set to leave the club as the team has no intention to renew their contracts and they will be free to negotiate with another club starting from the 2nd of January. Albelda and Maduro’s futures will be decided later this season and this will depend on their preformances.

The Sporting Director at the club has made another decision regarding the future of his team’s players. Valencia have opened the door for other clubs to send their offers for Portuguese defender Ricardo Costa. Valencia don’t think that selling the player in January will weaken the club as they’ve got several alternatives, Real Betis and a club from Turkey are reportedly interested in the centre back.

Totally agree with Braulio. We can still catch some money for Costa and I want him to leave, he doesn’t agree with his status as substitute, so he must leave. Personally, I really like Dealbert as a player and as a person. He is a great substitute. I’m curious who we will buy as the fourth CB when Costa leaves.
Miguel must leave asap, decent player but doesn’t act like a professional. Bruno is decent, but with Barragán and another upcoming RB (Van der Wiel?) we have two RB’s, which is okay. So let’s lower our salary cost and let Bruno leave.
As far as Maduro and Albelda: I would defenitely expire Albelda’s contract with one season. He is a legend and he deserves it. He’s also very decent this season, playing better then Mehmet Topal at the moment. And we need his experience and leadership. I also think that Maduro is a decent back-up, but if we can catch a decent transfer fee from another club for him (Espanyol?), I would let him go.

Well the thing with Miguel is all teams are aware of his crap behaviour so noone really wants him.

Hes even more unsellable then Del Horno was.

new coach if we want to keep our young players…maduro is very talented but emery is to smart and didnt play with him, same thing with piati, and we almost lost banega becouse of emery,i hate this guy no matter how much i love valencia cf

New coach if you’re gonna find someone to invest shitload of money. Reality is, nobody could do much more than Emery does with Valencia. His tactics are questionable at moments but most of the time he does a good job.

better to have a stable coach who gives us 3rd place, than players who could have been something, but never became what they talent said (piatti, parejo etc)!

I say give Dealbert the kick. Costa is a way better player. He just has to work with his attitude.

Let Bruno leave as well. It’s a shame that Miguel has to be so unprofessional. In my opinion he is much better than Barragan. But if we are signing Van der Wiel, it will make sence to let him leave to.

Looking forward to see who the new CB is going to be.

Neither Costa or Dealbert will play much because of Ruiz-Rami but at least Dealbert’s not moaning about it and telling the media “it was not him that conceded 3 goals against Santander”. About their quality, I think Dealbert’s been quite stable this year and certainly performed better than Costa did against Santander.
About right backs, if all goes well, they’ll both leave at the end of the season. Would love to see Miguel kicked out in January though, he can party and fight in clubs even without being employed by Valencia!
