Bayern Munich 2-1 Valencia CF
Valencia faced a very tough test on their first appearance in...
Valencia get a point after Albelda gets sent off.
After 85 minutes of attack and defense and trying to break through Osasuna’s defense Soldado scores a header off of a cross from Tino Costa. However, five minutes later Albelda recieves a red for his challenge. Moments later Lolo scored leaving Valencia bitter.
It was a hard game to play, the midfield was hard to get through and Feghouli was often used to get forward. There was not much going for Valencia, there was a slight danger for Osasuna when Valencia got forward but with falls, imprecisions and wasteful possession it was not a good step forward for goal.
However, Jonas helped the team a lot, his possession, plays and shots were good for Valencia trying to get three points. Emery went for a change and put Aduriz and Bernat in. Switching to 4-4-2 after the first ten minutes in the second half. Not much came out of it, which proved the hard game at the Reyno de Navarro.
Diego Alves was a great help with some great saves, but Valencia still could not manage to take the three points.
