A confident and dominant Valencia  falls in the second half.

Valencia went into half time on a good note. They played excellently, scored two goals and kept possession. Tino Costa got things started in the 23rd minute scoring a traditional Tino long shot off of a pass from Feghouli. Goalkeeper Dudu Aouate could not do anything to stop it.

The second goal was a goalkeeper error. Soldado pressured Aouate, who was not able to control the ball, and an alert Aduriz quickly takes the opportunity to score against an open goal.

The second half, however, was a different story. Valencia still keeping possession, allowed Mallorca to get two back. Similar to Thursday night against PSV. Nsue scored the first after receiving a pass from Pereira, Barragan was close to stopping Nsue but he could not make it.

About ten minutes later, in the 65th minute, Victor scored the equalizer after Nsue gave him a good pass to the second post.

Valencia were determined to find the winner, again regaining possession, but sloppy play began and they could not play as well as they had the first half.

To make matters worse, Tino Costa saw red in the 83rd minute after a late slide tackle.
